Hi, I'm Kenna! Jesus girl, wife to my favorite guy Dane, and mom to Gia. Time with my family is my favorite, especially if we are enjoying coffee and sunshine or whipping up a home cooked meal together. I was raised in the Wyoming countryside with my amazing family. (And will always be a WY country girl at heart!) I grew up sewing, crafting and creating both for fun and 4H. It's always been a passion! I graduated from the University of Wyoming with a BS in Textiles and Merchandising. Shortly after, my husband's job brought us to Kansas. We're happy to call Manhattan home now. After our move, I opened a successful Etsy shop and attended many craft fairs with my handmade goodies. Then I began substitute teaching, which I grew to love. I was nearly full time for several years before stepping away to be a full-time mom to Gia girl. The RISE Academy hybrid model is an answered prayer for our family! I am blessed with the role of Staff Care Lead at RISE on Tuesdays and Thursdays and am truly grateful and humbled to help pour into this ministry. Now stepping into the electives program, I feel doubley blessed and excited to serve you and your kiddos. Merging my joy for homeschooling + RISE Academy and sewing + creating is a dream!
