Dissection

Dissection opens the door to an engaging new world of discovery, blending scientific study with hands-on technique. In this class, students will develop a foundational understanding of anatomy—exploring how different structures function, how they are designed, and where they are located across a variety of animals. Specimens will include the earthworm, frog, pig, shark, and more. Each student will be provided with an individual kit containing all the materials needed to fully participate. This interactive, hands-on approach not only deepens comprehension but also helps strengthen fine motor skills. With a small class size, students benefit from personalized guidance and meaningful learning opportunities. We look forward to partnering with you and your student as we explore and appreciate the
intricacy and wonder of God’s creation.

Meet the Teacher

Levi Lear, PA-C

Levi holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Kansas State University and a Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Wichita State University. He brings over 11 years of experience in emergency medicine, inpatient hospital care, and clinical practice. Outside of medicine, Levi enjoys spending time with his greatest joy—his wife, Bethany, and their four children: Landry, Kendrick, Hattie, and Emmylou. We love to spend time outdoors hunting, fishing, camping and hiking. “My faith has inspired a deep sense of awe and appreciation for the complexity of God’s creation. I’m excited for the opportunity to share that passion with your student and to watch
their curiosity and fascination grow.”
