Being part of RISE truly feels like a gift... one that has shaped both my family and my calling in the sweetest ways. My husband, Andrew, serves in the United States Air Force, and together we’re raising four littles (plus one precious baby waiting for us in heaven) on a few acres just outside of Manhattan. 

 

Most of my days are joyfully full! Homeschool in the kitchen, play dates with friends, sipping coffee while a podcast hums in the background and capturing others through lifestyle photography. For more than a decade, I’ve had the privilege of working with elementary-aged students, a journey that’s only deepened my love for teaching and for partnering with families through education.

 

As our oldest approached school age, we felt the Lord leading us toward homeschooling. In His perfect timing, He brought RISE Academy into our lives - a provision that has been nothing short of a blessing. Now, I’m incredibly grateful to serve within RISE not only as a Co-Director but also as a fellow hybrid homeschool mom walking alongside other families on this path!

 

My heart is simple: to honor Christ by serving and supporting families in their unique educational journeys. At RISE, we strive to do just that: seek to serve well, share His grace and equip parents with confidence as they lead their children’s education. It’s been a joy to see how RISE is encouraging and impacting families, just as it has ours.
