It's truly a gift to be a part of RISE Academy. My husband, Andrew, serves in the USAF, and we have four littles (as well as a baby in heaven) on a few acres outside of Manhattan. I am a Wamego native and Emporia State graduate. I spend my time with family, homeschooling, drinking copious amounts of coffee while listening to a sermon and lifestyle photography. For the last 10+ years I have had the pleasure to work with a wide variety of elementary-aged students. As my oldest got closer to "school age" we explored the idea of homeschooling and the Lord orchestrated perfect timing that brought us to RISE. I am thrilled to walk alongside other RISE parents as a fellow hybrid-homeschool mama. My desire is to honor Christ by partnering with families in their own educational journey. RISE encourages our family as we homeschool and I have personally witnessed how it is blessing others. I can boast in nothing less than Jesus! At Rise, we are simply following the call to minister people He created, serving well, sharing the redeeming grace of Jesus and equipping families to educate their children.
