“Do everything in love”. 1 Corinthians 16:14. I feel extremely blessed to be a part of the RISE family and share my LOVE of teaching while sharing the LOVE of Jesus! I grew up in Manhattan and married my best friend. My husband Scott and I have been married for 28 years and raised three amazing children. We are now enjoying every minute of being grandparents to three adorable grandchildren. I graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelor’s in Family Studies and Human Services, and with a Master of Arts in Teaching Elementary Education. I have been in education for 22 years to include the fields of early childhood and elementary. I feel very blessed to have taught preschool, pre-k and kindergarten. I find it very important as an educator, that I am nurturing my students’ academic, social, emotional, and spiritual development. I am beyond excited to be the hands and feet of Jesus, while teaching the precious kindergarteners at RISE Academy.
